NAMIC is the largest and most diverse national property/casualty insurance trade and political advocacy association in the United States. Its 1,400 member companies write all lines of property/casualty insurance business and include small, single-state, regional, and national carriers accounting for 50 percent of the automobile/homeowners market and 31 percent of the business insurance market. NAMIC has been advocating for a strong and vibrant insurance industry since its inception in 1895.

The Illinois Association of Mutual Insurance Companies (IAMIC) is a member-run trade association composed of farm mutual insurance companies, reinsurance companies, associates and suppliers of the insurance industry. IAMIC was organized in 1881 in response to a need for the farm mutuals to have a collective “voice”. The association is dedicated to encouraging and developing the practice of high standards of professional conduct among the insurance industry and other insurance-related professionals.
The Mission of IAMIC is leadership, committed to the growth and development of the mutual insurance industry for the benefit of its members.
• Independent Farm Insurance Agents of Illinois
Originally organized in 1928…The Independent Farm Insurance Agents of Illinois work to promote the common interests of the independent farm insurance agents of Illinois by improving the business conditions for the members and offering educational programs covering topics of common interest to the membership. The organization also works to establish and encourage communication among members on all matters related to the farm insurance industry.
